Welcome to Disneyworld's Animal
Kingdom. The Animal Kingdom is made up of 5 separate lands. These
lands are Asia, Africa, Dinoland U.S.A., Discovery Island and Camp
Minnie Mickey. The center of the park is where " The Tree Of
Life" is located. As like the Magic Kingdom the Animal Kingdom
resembles a bike wheel with the spokes leading out to different lands.
Listed in the column to your
left are all rides and shows for each area. You will find a short
description of the ride, height requirements if any, type of ride, if
handicap accessible, if the ride has a Fastpass and a rating of
1-10 of the ride. Remember 10 is the best an attraction can get.
In addition, we have
information on the Animal Kingdom stores, restaurants with
menus, maps, information for guests with disabilities and guest
relations information. We are happy to announce that even though the 100 years of magic is over
Disney has decided to continue running its Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.
This is a very colorful and fun parade to watch. For the safety of the
live animals Disney's Animal Kingdom does not have a fireworks display.
What's New or coming
to the Animal Kingdom? Disney announced it's newest
thrill ride called "Expedition Everest". This ride will be
located in Disney's Animal Kingdom . This ride will be a fast
paced roller coaster which will go forward and backwards. The
adventure will take place in the Himalayas where riders will
face the fable character Yeti. This ride is expected to be
completed in 2006.
