DISNEY CRUISE

Have some questions about Disney Cruises? Take a look we may have your answer.

The biggest question of all, what should I pack?
Try not to bring to much. Just bring what you really need.  Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line offer a casual, informal resort atmosphere. All that is needed in the summer is lightweight shorts, slacks, sundresses, jeans, and tops are all appropriate attire in The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Central Florida. In the winter, a light jacket, sweater, and socks may be needed for cooler days and nights. Bring comfortable shoes , boat shoes, sandals, or sneakers. A very important item is your swimwear, sunglasses, a sunhat or visor, and sunscreen

Shipboard evening attire for the Animator's Palate and Parrot Cay dining rooms is casual. Button-down, open-collar shirts or polo shirts and slacks are recommended for men. Pants and a blouse or a casual dress are appropriate for ladies.

Lumière's and Triton's restaurants and the adults-only dinner restaurant, Palo's, it is suggested that men wear jackets and ladies wear dresses or pantsuits. No shorts, T-shirts, or jeans are allowed in any of the restaurants in the evening.

Aboard the 7-Night Caribbean Cruise there are two evening dinners that require "black-tie-optional", attire. Tuxedo rentals are available in advance for these special dinners.

Guests sailing on a 7-Night Cruise can attend the spirit of The Islands deck party.  You can wear festive island clothing including colorful shirts, dresses, shorts, or pants.

Remember to bring any prescription medicines in the original containers, an extra pair of glasses or contact lenses, and your camera.

Strollers are available for rental on board.

Can I call home from the ship?
You can direct-dial to anywhere  from your stateroom. Ship-to-shore rates apply and will be posted in your stateroom.

How can I contact my family/friends that are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line ?
To contact guests staying aboard the Disney Magic or the Disney Wonder, call (888) 322-8732.

Can I bring visitors on board the ship?
No,  for security and safety reasons,  visitors are not allowed aboard.

Can I park at Port Canaveral?
The parking facility is operated by the Canaveral Port Authority. Cash is the only acceptable form of payment. No Credit cards or personal checks will be accepted. Outdoor parking at the pier is $24 for the 3-Night Cruise, $32 for the 4-Night Cruise, and $56 for the 7-Night Cruise. Rates are subject to change.

Do I need to bring a hairdryer?
No, there's a hair dryer in every stateroom bathroom.

Do you sell merchandise on board ship?
The ships sell many items from bathing suits to unique Disney collectables. They have bathroom supplies and much more. In addition, the ships have a photo shop called SHUTTERS which offers photography services and a limited selection of cameras and accessories.

Is there laundry service?
On board ship there are laundry and dry-cleaning services (with stateroom pickup) available for a charge. In addition there is a self-service Guest Laundry Room with coin-operated washers, dryers, detergent, and ironing equipment. For safety reasons, irons or steamers may be used in the laundry room only.

Is there a doctor on the ship?
A physician and nurse are on call 24-hours a day on every cruise. The physician and nurse charge their standard fees for their services. In addition be sure to bring an adequate supply of any prescription drugs (in their original containers) you require.

Does the ship provide religious services?
On certain religious holidays, an onboard Rabbi or Priest will perform services.

Onboard Drills
Everyone on board must participate in a safety drill before departure from port.  This must be completed in order to comply with Coast Guard and international safety regulations.
