GUEST COMMENTS
Fort Wilderness is an
adventure in and of itself! We have 3 young children, and this was the perfect
resort for us. It had a petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides, campfire and movie,
boat rides, and more! We could have had all our fun right there without ever
going to a park. The people are kind and friendly, and it is relatively easy to
get where you need to go, from the parks to Downtown Disney. The accommodations
are neat and quaint and cozy - a real
cabin-in-the-woods-without-really-being-in-the-woods feel. This is a great place
to stay!
Transportation could
be improved upon! Especially since it shares buses with Wilderness Lodge. Not
good...
Fort Wilderness
customer service starts at the entrance gate. Our reservations were made March
13, 2003., however, do to a sudden diagnosis of Cancer, we postponed our visit
to Sept 13.03, over the Internet. Upon arrival, I was informed that There were
NO reservations for us, and the Front Desk mousecateer, NIKKI, went out of her
way to straighten out the mess. (The internet booking travel agency dropped the
ball). She spent hours with us (we had our paid receipts, and confirmation
numbers), and never once lost her cool. It would be an honor to have her as our
employee! In addition, after finally getting our cabin and settling in, Nikki
arraigned a gift from Mickey, Chip and Dale for us....as a kind gesture. We were
totally impressed, by the professionalism, and attitude of her and the crew. We
had a magical two days...and will be back...to Fort Wilderness very, very, soon!
Enjoy your visit....the K's from St Augustine Florida
Absolutely the best!!!
There should be a certain number of sights set aside for
seasonal/annual pass holders so during busy weekends they
don't get shoved to the side.
Our most favorite
campground. It would be true even if it wasn't at WDW.
This is the most
wonderful campground we have visited. The staff is and has
been terrific. They assisted us when we had a problem with a
water leak-never a complaint. All companies should learn from
Disney on how to treat their guest!!!! Never once had we had
to worry about our children there is always Disney Cast
members about when ever needed. Disney campground #1.
dryers not
working right 15.00 to dry clothes is too much. overall
campground was not bad. golf carts are also too much should
have lower rate for people staying for more then two
days, movies were good.
We are headed back again. this time
to stay longer. It can get pricey, but when you get such wonderful service and
attitudes, you don't mind as much!
I'LL BE BACK!
MY FAMILY AND I HAVE STAYED IN
THREE DIFFERENT RESORTS ALSO WENT ON A DISNEY CRUISE ALL HAVE BEEN GREAT YOU CAN
NOT GO WRONG WITH ANY DISNEY TRIP. THANK YOU ALL
We had a wonderful experience!
However, we felt there should have been a snack bar of some sort
If you have more than one family or
anyone elderly this is not the place to stay. It is very difficult to get around
and they do not have enough Golf carts for rent.
